LMBA Appoints Herback-South Technical Director

Lloydminster Minor Baseball is excited to announce the addition of Josh Herback-South as our program's Baseball Technical Director.  This new role will see Herback-South drive all things related to player and coach development within LMBA, supporting all aspects of skill development with a specific focus on specialty positions (pitchers and catchers).

Coach Herback-South relocated to Lloydminster in 2017 after a successful college career to coach with the Prairie Pirates and Bulldogs.  In 2020, he purchased the Bulldogs Baseball Academy and has grown that program to include all levels of baseball training (grassroots to elite players) and has now added softball training as well.  Many LMBA players train in the winter with the Academy.  He was a driving force behind the formation of the Central Canada Fall Baseball League in 2021, which has extended the competitive season for many baseball players.  Coach Herback-South was an honorable mention on the Canadian Baseball Network's 100 Most Influential Canadians in Baseball list.
