Wheatley Promoted to 18U AAA Head Coach

LMBA is excited to announce that Dakota Wheatley will be the new Head Coach of the 18U AAA Prairie Pirates. Wheatley has served as an assistant coach for the 18U squad for the past two seasons and is the lead assistant with the Bulldogs Baseball Academy during the offseason.

As a player Wheatley finished up his 18U career with the Edmonton Cardinals in 2016, winning AAA Provincials and attending Nationals. Wheatley then played 3 years of collegiate ball at Prairie Baseball Academy in Lethbridge until his third season was cut short by COVID in 2020. In 2021 Wheatley played 5 games with the Edmonton Prospects in the WCBL.
