2024 LMBA 11U Division Information

This program is for players born 2013-2015 (2016 can play as underage if deemed ready).

11U Programming: 

• One or Two Lloydminster Twins AA team will be selected from a tryout process in March. These teams will practice on weeknights and compete in the Baseball Alberta AA League 2-3 weekends per month. Provincials will be towards the end of July.

• All players other players born 2013 and 2014 will play in the 11U City League

• All players born 2014 and 2015 will be evaluated in April to determine if 11U or 9U is the best fit.

2024 Fees

11U City League - $300

11U AA Twins Provincial Team - $690

LMBA City League Information 2024:

• • 11U Leagues run on Tuesdays and Thursdays

  • The City League will begin in May and run for 7 weeks, wrapping up with our annual Tournament towards the end of June.

  • If enough interest exists from players in the City League in playing into July and the Baseball Alberta “A” Provincials, one or more Twins A teams will be formed to play 2 weekends of competition in July, followed by “A” Provincials.  Additional Charges will apply for Twins "A" Provincials. 

  Division Differences

  11U City League	3 out innings are played 5 run limit per inning All other rules are based on Baseball Alberta’s 11U “A” rules
  9U Rookie Ball	Modified Games: Pitching Machine is used Bat through lineup each inning in May, play 3 outs in June This used to be called “Mites” baseball
